Waitomo Glowworm Caves
Explore the underground world of majestic limestone and rock formations within Waitomo Caves. Hop on a boat ride to a cavern where thousands of glowworms illuminate the pitch-black walls, similar to stars in the night sky.

ZORB Experience
Roll downhill inside a specially designed transparent orb for a thrill ride you should not miss! This unique experience is also called the ZYDRO, which involves water inside the ZORB globe for a more exciting ride.

Te Puia
Be entertained by traditional productions inside the sacred marae (meeting house) in Te Puia. Watch a Māori Concert, a cultural showcase of different dances, rituals, and live music. Among these dances are the haka (war dance) and the titi torea (stick dance).

Agrodome and Maori Arts and Crafts Institute
Take a tour around a farm where you can hand-feed some animals and witness an actual sheepdog demonstration before visiting a 100-year old working woolen mill. See artists at work as they create traditional Maori handicrafts such as wood carvings and cloths at the arts and crafts institute.

Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley
Watch in awe as the famous Pohutu Geyser shoots up water 100 feet into the air. See the fumaroles and boiling mud pools that can only be seen in the Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley. If time permits, there will also be a stop at the nocturnal kiwi house.

  • Please arrive at the check-in location at least 15 minutes prior to the departure time.

Activity Detail

Restrictions

  • Children 6 years old and above can participate in ZORB experience.
  • Children four (4) years old and under are free, but will need to sit on a parent or guardian's lap if there are no available seats.

Additional Notes

  • During rare cases when the Waitomo Cave Tour does not operate, it may be upgraded to the Ruakuri Cave Tour. When the upgrade is provided, the Waitomo Cave portion of the tour is non-refundable.
  • Audio guide is available in Spanish, Mandarin, and Japanese. If you would like to use one, please notify a staff member on board.
